Acne/Oily Skin

Acne - Why "New You" works on acne is simply that in order to have acne breakouts, you must first have oil build-up. Oil build-up is caused by the pores pumping excess oil underneath dead skin cells to try and moisturize them. Whenever you wipe off the oil, from acne or oily skin, within a few minutes your skin will be oily again, because the source of the oil is trapped underneath six to seven layers of dead skin cells. By using the "New You", you will remove all of the dead skin cells, and therefore all of the excessive oil production stops.

As you use the "New You" on a regular basis to remove dead skin cells, your pores in (approx.), five to six weeks will go back to pumping a normal amount of oil, because there is no dead cells needing oil to moisturize them. When you no longer are getting oil build up, you cannot have further outbreaks. The existing acne will be left with no dead cells surrounding it, no oil surrounding it, and will simply dehydrate.

Most adult acne will be cleared up before or at the end of two treatment periods, (20weeks), using the "New You" skin care, however, people in high stress jobs, with emotional problems may take longer, (3 to 4 treatments).

Oily Skin - Oily skin and dry skin are caused by the same problem, too much dead skin cell buildup. It is just that in the case of oily skin, the "oil glands" pump excessive oil to moisturize the dead skin, which can cause the pores to expand and become large, with dry skin they do not. By using our Aloe Enzyme to remove dead skin cells on a regular basis, oil production will eventually return to normal, and your pores will shrink. (Approx. 5 to 6 weeks). It is sometimes necessary to do a second treatment course to get the pores back to normal.

Acne Scarring

Acne Scarring - "New You" will only remove, completely, scarring that is on the outer layer of skin. Other types of scarring, it will help to clean up, but will not totally remove. Most scarring and stretch marks are on the outer layer of skin and CAN be completely removed. This includes both raised scarring and pitted scarring. However, it is important to understand that treatment for scarring always takes the longest time. Remember, this is your own body healing itself. And just as all scarring will fade as you get older, "New You" simply speeds up your own bodies healing processes.

How this works on scarring is as you remove dead skin cells from the surface, new skin cells will be built underneath the scarring. However, when the new skin reaches the scarring, scarring unfortunately has memory in it, the new skin will therefore begin to rebuild the scarring. However, it will rebuild it slightly less than it was before. In 10 weeks time, the scarring will begin to fade, but just a little. It is important with scarring to take a picture before you start, for if you have a picture, you will be able to see that the scarring has faded. As you rebuild the skin again, the scarring will fade even more. It takes a minimum of six months to remove scarring and can be as long as 2 years. It will ultimately make your skin look as good as your body will allow.

Discoloration & Brown Spots

Brown Spots & Skin Discoloration - There are two different kinds of brown spots and skin discoloration. There is the type of brown spot, such as an age spot or a freckle, which is caused by skin discoloration and in most cases can be removed in one treatment course. There are however, brown spots which can be from the liver, from allergies, from reaction to medication. These spots are different in that they are chemically made.

As the new skin you are producing builds up from the bottom of the outer layer of skin, if it hits a brown spot that is skin discoloration, it will push up the brown spot higher and higher, until you eventually exfoliate it out. With this type of brown spot, it is not uncommon for it to look like it is getting worse before it gets better, simply because it is getting closer to the surface of the skin.

With a chemically made spot, although the spot does not have memory in it, as the new skin pushes through the chemicals, some will be removed and carried to the surface, but some will also dye the new skin. Therefore in ten weeks, the spot will fade but will not be gone. These spots can be totally removed, although it may take 2 or 3 treatment courses to remove them.

Skin discoloration, uneven skin tones, or dull skin will be removed in one or two ten week treatment courses. As you begin to build new skin cells from the bottom of the outer layer of skin, the new cells you produce will have your natural tone and texture of your skin. It will, however, take ten weeks from the time you start your first exfoliation treatment until the new cells work there way to the surface layer of your skin. Large Pores

Large Pores - Large pores, are caused by excessive amounts of oil being pumped through the layers of your skin trying to moisturize dry or dead skin on or near the surface. You remove dry and dead skin when you exfoliate, this tells your body that excessive amounts of oil are not needed, and your body stops producing the extra oil. Once the excessive oil stops pumping through your skin, (approx. 5 to 6 weeks), the pores will begin to shrink. It is sometimes necessary to do a second treatment course to get the pores back to normal.

Lines, Wrinkles, and Anti-Aging

Wrinkles/Lines/Anti-Aging - "New You" in effect really does anti-age in that it causes your skin to rebuild faster as in your youth. This means that the skin is replaced faster so that the damaging effects of weather, harsh chemicals, air-pollution, etc. do not harm the same surface skin for as long a time. Thus... less deteriation in your looks.

As "New You" begins to build new skin cells, from the bottom of your outer layer of skin, underneath the lines and wrinkles, the new skin will hit a line or a wrinkle. These have memory in them, and the new skin will begin to rebuild them. However, it will rebuild them less than they were before. Therefore, in 10 weeks, lines and wrinkles will be reduced but not totally gone. On average, you can rebuild the skin up to 3 times and get lines and wrinkles to reduce even more. After 3 treatment courses, this is generally as far as your own body will allow it to rejuvenate.

Rosacea

Rosacea - Although there are many different types of rosacea, we have had an extremely good success ratio with reduction/elimination of rosacea, (standing at about 80%). Normally after five or six weeks of using the product you should notice a marked difference in the rosacea. As stated earlier there are many different types of rosacea but some types take longer. The key to eliminating rosacea is time. Having said that, after one treatment course of 10 weeks the rosacea should noticeably fade or disappear. It is best to take a picture of the affected area before treatment, as the change may be very gradual. If you notice a change, but it has not disappeared, a second treatment course might further the results of the reduction. If you do not notice a change over the ten week course, it would not be advisable to continue with another treatment as you may have a type of rosacea that will not respond to any treatment course.
